I didn't found on the forum wich board I need to connect Cinterion PH8 for upgrade his firmware.
Could you help me a bit please ?
Thank you !
To update the firmware you need access to ASC0 or USB interface.
If you already have any development board for Cinterion modules (like DSB75 for example) with any adapter it should work also for firmware update. If you have the module connected to your hardware the firmware update can also work if you have access to serial (RTS/CTS needed) or USB interface.
Thank you for your answer. I don't have any board cause my Ph8 is in Motorola MC67NA, i'm not sure that i can communicate with the Ph8 via this MC67NA.
Does the starter kit B80 could works ?
B80 will work with PH8 module. So it could also be used for firmware update.
You can connect the modle directly without any adapter.
Here you can find B80 user guide and many more documents for PH8: https://iot-developer.thalesgroup.com/documentation/download-documentati...
You need to do the firmware update on the modem interface.
Thank you a lot !
