Hi guys,
do you know where can I found the usb driver for windows 8 for tc65i module?
I have one driver but as its not signed by the manufacturer Windows 8 refuses to install :(
Any workaround for this?
Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.
Regards,
MA
Hi,
The TC65i module is quite old so there's no driver for Windows 8.
A workaround would be to disable driver signature verification.

Hi,
I have a similar problem in windows 10.
It seems that the driver installs correctly, but when connected, the module uses a standard windows driver and appears as a normal com port.
I'm not sure if it will work with the windows standard driver, but the problem is how to find it and to identify it if there are more serial devices.
I have a c# program to modify for windows 10 compatibility and I have no idea how to solve this.
Any help will be appreciated,
Regards,
Josep
Hello,
This is quite an old module so the compatibility with Windows 10 is not guaranteed.
But have you tried to open the Device Manager and change the driver for the device manually?
With the Cinterion driver the module should appear as USB modem.

Hello,
Thanks, I'll try it.
Another question, where can I find the latest driver.
The person who work in this projetc before use the MESSetup.exe and the files tc65imdms.inf and usbmodem.inf as a driver install, but I'm not sure that this is correct.
Regards,
Josep
Hello,
These are the correct modem drivers for USB and serial. To see the exact version you can open the file and see the driver version.
As this is an old module these drivers have not been updated for a long time.
MESSetup is the software for accessing the module's file system.

Hello,
It works, but I had to disable the driver signature verification.
Is not possible to have a signed driver?
Thanks,
Josep
Hello,
Unfortunately we don't provide the signed driver for this module.
In fact this module is not being offered any more so I wouldn't expect any updates.
