Hi!
We have received the message (attached) during Gemalto BGSx Software Development Kit installation. The probem is that the "Mobility" plug-in is absent in the "Available plug-ins" list (NetBeans 7.3 installed). What could be wrong ? Thanks.
Hello,
It seems that you already have NetBeans or Eclipse IDE without a plugin. Have you tried to click 'Check for Updates' on 'Available Plugins' tab?
You may also let the NetBeans (if it's not the same version that you already have) or Eclipse be installed.

Bartłomiej
Hello,
The mobility plugin for NetBeans is not included. it looks like it is a NetBeans bug. I have installed NB from Gemalto install CD and I have the same message on checking for updates. At the same time I have the same NB version installed on another PC and there is Mobility plugin installed and also there are more available plugins listed. So it looks like it was possible to update the list at the time of installation. However now it also is not possible.

Bartłomiej
Hello,
It looks like NetBeans must have changed something on their side - the same versions of NetBeans that were able to update list of plugins and install Mobility plugin, now can not download new plugins list. At the same time it is possible to download this file with a web browser.
I can not state at the moment when and if it could be fixed as it is not Gemalto software and it does not depend on Gemalto. But there is also a support for Eclipse IDE for which the plugin is available in Gemalto installation package.

Hello,
Thanks for your response.
Let's take the "Java User'Guide", page 73 : 2 plugins, "Mobility" and
"Java ME SDK Tools" are seen in the "Available Plugins".
Page 74: "On NetBeans versions different to 7.3 the "Java ME SDK Tools" might not be available via the NetBeans plugin manager. In this case the "Java ME SDK 3.2" must be downloaded from the following URL and installed manually:www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javame/javamobile/download/sdk/default-3..."
But there are "Java ME SDK 3.4" and "Java ME SDK 3.0.5" on this URL.. (Not 3.2)
You write :"At the same time it is possible to download this file with a web browser."
Could you give name of "this file" and its URL ?
Thanks.
Hello,
I have also checked and found the same problem with the Oracle link unfortunately. It seems that Oracle has also changed something on their website since the link was prepared.
I was able to download the file with the updated plugins list, from the Netbeans window that you have pasted - the same file that Netbeans fails to download. But I don't know if it's possible to insert it into NB somehow to update the list.

Hello,
I have tested both Installers for BGS5 Rel.1 ARN21 and Rel.2. ARN01.001.06.
Before running an Installer, I had NetBeans already installed (C:\Program Files (x86)\NetBeans 7.2) and two Eclipse's already unzipped on my PC (e.g. one of them C:\Users\Public\Eclipse\eclipse). All of them where found by both Installers (rel.1 and Rel.1) during scan to add or remove the WTK.
Best Regards,
Agata
Hi Bartłomiej, Agata,
Could you confirm if there is any update or work-around identified for this at present, as it is also affecting my re-installation for EHSx & PLS62 install CDs?
Many thanksk, Neil
