Hi,
Having some issues with a PLS8-E and network registration with one network in particular. Just will not seem to connect. Im fairly new to this but can see others are having the same issue. It can see the network and reports as available but will not register. Please see below

Hello,
To manually register to a network you need to AT+COPS=1,2,23415 or AT+COPS=1,2,23415,<RAT: 0, 2 or 7> and that should work. However you got error reply.
Have you tested the SIM in another device? I see that you have limited bands to 3G only - is there any reason for this, have you tried with all bands?
Please make sure that the main antenna is connected. Please check AT^SCFG?, AT+CPLS? and AT+CPOL? outputs.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
Sim had been tried in a different device on 3G bands and registers successfully. I have 5 voda sims that are doing the same thing. I also have 02 sims which automatically register. I need them to operate on 3G only.
Looking at the AT+CPOL? I'm missing the numeric value for my network "23415" Output strings are below.
Main antenna is connected and this is the output from AT+CSQ

Hello,
AT+CPOL and AT+CPLS settings are probably the reason why the module does not register automatically. But still it should be possible to register manually. Please try to add your network to CPOL (you may need to specify all the parameters) or switch to CPLS 2 and test what happens. Just for test you might also extend the bands to check what happens in 2G or 4G.
Regards,
Bartłomiej
Seems to have now connected but as I've expanded to all bands, I need to see what bands it is connected upon.

Hello,
You can see the radio access technology for example in AT+COPS? output or AT^SMONI. However the module does not output the particular frequency band that is currently used. But you can verify this based on ARFCN that can be read from AT^SMONI output.
As for the firmware please check the detailed version with ATI1 command.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
OK so I've tried the 3G bands and the 4G bands and had no connection successes.

As for 3G log that you have provided I can see that the module has registered and PDP context is activated but there's an error for some reason while you try to deactivate it with AT+CGACT=0, 1 command.
Is there anything else that I can try?
Im at a real loss with this now.
According to your last logs the module is registered to 2G and 3G.
So what's the current status?
