Hi!
I tested with success PHS8-P (terminal made by MC technologies)
with 460800 baudrate on UART port (change baudrate with command "AT+IPR=460800"). After power off/on modem did not respont through ASC0 port nor 115200 not 460800 not any other baudrates (hardware flow control is enable). Also after power on, yellow led is ligths some seconds and after that goes out. Whan is was everything good, the green len began flashing. Now it not happens. If modem connected to PC through USB, I can work with command line: AT&V ACTIVE PROFILE: E1 Q0 V1 X0 &C1 &D2 &S0 \Q3 S0:000 S3:013 S4:010 S5:008 S6:002 S7:000 S8:002 S10:014 +CBST: 0,0,1 +CRLP: 61,61,48,6,0 +CRLP: 61,61,48,6,1 +CRLP: 240,240,52,6,2 +CR: 0 +CRC: 0 +CMGF: 0 +CSDH: 0 +CNMI: 0,0,0,0,1 +IPR: 460800 +CMEE: 0 +CSMS: 0,1,1,1 ^SLCC: 0 ^SCKS: 0,0 ^SSET: 0 +CREG: 0,0 +CLIP: 0 +CAOC: 1 +COPS: 0 +CGSMS: 0 OK AT^SCFG? ^SCFG: "Audio/Loop","0" ^SCFG: "Call/ECC","0" ^SCFG: "Call/Speech/Codec","0" ^SCFG: "GPRS/Auth","2" ^SCFG: "GPRS/AutoAttach","disabled" ^SCFG: "GPRS/MaxDataRate/HSDPA","0" ^SCFG: "GPRS/MaxDataRate/HSUPA","0" ^SCFG: "Ident/Manufacturer","Cinterion" ^SCFG: "Ident/Product","PHS8-P" ^SCFG: "MEopMode/Airplane","off" ^SCFG: "MEopMode/CregRoam","0" ^SCFG: "MEopMode/CFUN","0","1" ^SCFG: "MEopMode/PowerMgmt/LCI","disabled" ^SCFG: "MEopMode/PowerMgmt/VExt","high" ^SCFG: "MEopMode/PwrSave","disabled","0","50" ^SCFG: "MEopMode/RingOnData","off" ^SCFG: "MEopMode/RingUrcOnCall","on" ^SCFG: "MEShutdown/OnIgnition","off" ^SCFG: "Radio/Band","511" ^SCFG: "Radio/NWSM","0" ^SCFG: "Radio/OutputPowerReduction","8" ^SCFG: "Serial/USB/DDD","0","0","0409","1E2D","0054","Cinterion","PH8","" ^SCFG: "URC/DstIfc","app" ^SCFG: "URC/Datamode/Ringline","on" ^SCFG: "URC/Ringline","local" ^SCFG: "URC/Ringline/ActiveTime","1"
AT^SDPORT command give default mode: 6 (Application interface is available on ASC0). But as I wrote below, I cant communicate through ASC0 after set baudrate 460800, only through USB (via virtual COM port). I try command AT^SDPORT=3 and try to change baudrate with command AT+IPR=115200 on virtual COM port (on witch AT^SQPORT? command return "Application") but it did not bring any effect. After that, I try AT^SDPORT=2 and now, nor ASC0 nor USB not work, so I cant communicate completely with modem. I remind after power on, yellow led is ligths some seconds and after that goes out. When it was everything work good, the green len began flashing. Now this does not happen. What does that mean?
Can I repair ASC0 port to communicate with modem?
Is it possible to made full factory reset? Thanks!
The firmware version of modem: 3.001
Hello,
If it's not possible to communicate with the module I'd try to do a firmware update.
If this will not be possible or will not change anything it would be the best to contact with the local technical support.
Best regards,
