Hi,
How can I reinstall and start the JRC if I unistalled and removed it from the Cinterion board?
I followed one of the tutorials related to FOTA midlet and in one of the steps this is suggested, but it's not very clear how JRC is being updated after that.
Tutorial: Cinterion/CMTK/EHS5/Documentation/ehsx_fota_midlet_v01.pdf
Thanks in advance for help,
Mugurel
In this thread: https://iot-developer.thalesgroup.com/threads/bgs5t-cannot-manage-csd-in... it says that you get JRC midlet with firmware update, so mayb you could do that.
And here you have example of downloading JRC but I am not sure if it will work for you.

Hi,
You can reinstall the FW of the module over USB/RS232 with the windows/linux application provided by Gemalto M2M. contact Gemalto M2M in your country for such files. That's in my opinion the best option for you
Other way is to manually copy and install the jar and jad files with the MES program or manually and a terminal emulation. The way is described in the link that pointed Jure. Contact also Gemalto M2M in your country to obtain the files. Be carefull to install the rigth JRC jar/jar files of your FW version
AT-Cmd: AT^SJDL=1,1870,"JRC-1.50.11.jad" ---> 1870 es the size in kb of the file / JRC-1.50.11.jad --> is the name of the file to tranfer
CONNECT --> Use tranfer file of your terminal aplication
OK
AT-Cmd: AT^SJDL=1,664380,"JRC-1.50.11.jar" --> 664380 is the size of the file in KB / JRC-1.50.11.jar--> name of the file
Response:
CONNECT --> Use tranfer file of your terminal aplication
OK
---> Installing JRC-MIDlet...
AT-Cmd: AT^SJAM=0,"a:/JRC-1.50.11.jad",""
OK
Starting JRC-MIDlet...
AT-Cmd: AT^SJAM=1,"a:/JRC-1.50.11.jad",""
OK
Reset your device with at+cfun=1,1
Enable the userware autostart
AT-Cmd: AT^SCFG="Userware/Autostart","","1"
^SCFG: "Userware/Autostart","1"
OK
Reset again your device with at+cfun=1,1

Hello,
Where i can download de jrc for ehs6? I removed it and now my hardware cannot start my application.
Hello,
If you have access to extranet you will find JRC there. You can also contact your distributor or local Gemalto/Thales M2M office.
It is important to have the proper version of JRC MIDlet for your firmware - you need to check the installed firmware version with ATI1 command.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
We have near 350 gateways without JRC 1.56.40 (3 years old hardware, assembled by a local company) but they still work without JRC.
New ones (assembled in 2018 or newest) with JRC 1.56.58 cant start after uninstall JRC. Now we have 25 of this ones and we cant use them. I Search for whole forum/site and cannot found JRC for downlod. The distributor of my hardwares tell i cand re-install the JRC but for me it seem possilbe...
Can u help me? and sorry for my bad english.
Best Regards,
Emerson.
Hello,
All the factory new modules are distributed with JRC as it is a part of factory firmware and some of the features are implemented in JRC. It is not recommended to remove it. You can install it in the same way as any MIDlet. You need the firmware version (ATI1 reply) to match the proper JRC version. If you have access to Gemalto extranet you can download it from there. You can also contact your local Gemalto M2M sales with this problem.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
Tankyou for your answer. I found all i want on Gemalto extranet.
