java.io.IOException: Algorithm Id parsing | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

Good morning,
I found several posts talking about an algorithm ID parsing fault when trying to connect to Amazon AWS. I'm currently facing the same issue with an EHS8 module.
Do you know if a solution has been found for this module?
The configuration of my module is as follow:
Cinterion
EHS8
REVISION 03.001
A-REVISION 00.000.14
Thanks by advance for your help.
Regards,
Benoit
Hello,
The communication with Amazon AWS is working in the newer firmware releases.
However currently A-REVISION 00.000.14 is still the latest official release for this module.
I think that in such case you should contact your local Gemalto technical support for assistance.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
Hi,
Thanks for the update. I'm not sure what it means though.
When you say that AWS is working on the newer firmware releases, does it mean that it should work with my firmware release as it is the newest one for the EHS8 or are you talking about newer firmware releases for other products?
Do you have some explanations about what the problem is exactly?
Regards,
Benoit
The explanation for the firmware releases is that not every firmware release that is created for the product becomes the public release and goes to factory and customers.
So you can either wait for the next public release (which should already be working with AWS) or contact your local Gemalto technical support and ask if they have any more information or solution to get it working earlier.
