How to use this pin to external antenna switch? My switch is SP2T and what is the initial value of the pin? Low or High? Thank you.
This line (ANT_SWITCH) can be used as a control signal for a possible external 700MHz antenna switch. In case it is unused If unused it should be kept open.
Here are the electrical characteristics:
VOLmax = 0.5V at |IOL| < 5mA
VOHmin = 1.8V at |IOH| < 5mA
VOHmax = 2.3V at |IOH| < 5mA
The ANT_SWITCH line is set to "high" if the module is employing frequencies in the 700 MHz range (i.e., LTE band 17) and "low" for all other frequencies, including the 800/850 MHz frequency bands.
It is triggered by all module internal activities involving a change of the used frequency, even if only temporary (e.g., inter-band scanning using compressed ****).
The maximum delay/deviation between internal usage change of the frequency band, and the pin signal change is 10 microseconds.
Thanks for your reply. Do you have any simple examples of circuit.? I don't know how to design between the antenna switch pin, antenna pad, and antenna. Thank you.
Unfortunately we don't have an example circuit. I think that you need to follow the documentation of your switch. ANT_SWITCH line only changes states from low to high to reflect which frequency is needed. So it ***** to be connected to some control input of the swich.
