Hi all,
Could you, please, tell me how to connect an android device to internet using the 3G connection of EHS6T-USB modem ? What the AT commands could we use to enable (activate) the 3G connection of the modem ?Thank you in advance.
Best regards,

Hello,
There's a RIL dirver for Android available. You can ask your local Gemalto technical sales for the proper version for your module.

Hi,
I sent an email to my local Gemalto technical sales but I still have no answer from them.
So continue my investigations: I guess I need to enable a PPP interface to connect my android device to internet through the 3G modem.Isn't it?
The problem is that I don't know how to manage it, how to enable a PPP interface in order to have an ip address on my Android device.
I have pppd installed on my device. I also have init.gprs-pppd, ip-down-ppp0, ip-up-ppp0, ip-up-vpn files on my android device. How can I have internet access using this different elements and 3G modem (EHS6T) ?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,

Hello,
As far as I know RIL is the best way and all the customers are using it. It integrates with Android and does all the work in the background: communicates with Android and configures the module properly, sends all the AT commands etc.
Please let me know if you are still waiting for a contact from technial sales.
