Hi,

I am connecting EHS5-E module directly to my laptop via USB port, and I use Debian as the operating system.

When I plug in the module, the operating system recognizes 7 new devices: ttyACM0 -> ttyACM6. Open the ttyACM0, I can send and receive AT commands from the module.

Now, I want the operating system to recognize the module as a modem or a wwan interface, so all applications can connect to internet and use services provided by the operating system, and not having to interface directly to the module via AT commands.

I have been searching but found no information to do that. Can anyone help me?

Hello,

ttyACM0 is the modem interface. This module does not have wwan interface. So you need to establish a dialup connection and for that you need to use some application depending on your system.
