Gemalto readers + .NET : freeze on laptops with American Megatrends EFI / UEFI firmware | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

Hello,
I faced an issue on several laptops that have an American Megatrends EFI firmware. When I connect a K30 smardcard reader or PC Twin reader with a .NET card before to start the laptop, the firmware is frozen. When I remove the K30 USB stick, the boot is OK.
I faced the problem on different devices and the common point ids the EFI :
- Surface Pro 2 with American MegaTrends 2.15.1226
- Surface Pro 3 with American MegaTrends 2.16.1243
- ASUS Pro BU 401 L with American Megatrends 2.15.1236
- Clevo laptop with American Megatrends 2.17.1246
Other test :
K30 reader WITHOUT .Net card : OK, no freeze
PC Twin reader with .Net Card inserted : KO, freeze
---> this is really the combination Reader + .Net card inserted that is KO
I don't know if there is a workaround, but it's blocking at each restart our laptops.
Is anybody facing the same issue ?
Best regards
JP
Hello,
This forum is concentrated on wireless modules for machine to machine communication.
You will probably not find the answer here.

Ok, as I only found this Gemalto forum and the entry is "Global Discussion -This group is global and open for discussions of every topic." I thought it was the good place.
Any idea of where to find a contact to deal with this severe problem ?
Hello,
The forum is generally about m2m modules (please see the portfolio: http://www.gemalto.com/m2m/solutions/modules-terminals ).
I think that you could check this site for help: http://support.gemalto.com/index.php?id=contact_us
