Gemalto BGS2-w is not responding. | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

I am working on BGS2-W with starter kit b-80. This board was working fine earlier but suddenly stop responding today.
At auto baud rate board was working only on 9600 baud and it was taking more time to respond to 'AT' commands and sometimes the board seems to be hung.
After changing the baud rate to 57600 and on next power cycle it was printing ^sysstart on the Teraterm and on Putty console and it was not taking any commands from the user.
Now every time it powers On it will only print ^SYSSTART and takes no input from the user, but RxTx led on starter kit is blinking while entering commands.
The modem is not responding properly for every keystroke. Even though the tx rx led toggling according to keystroke
"AT" followed by enter key
case 1: Nothing on the terminal console.
case 2: We saw "A" on the terminal and followed by "ERROR" in the next line after some time.
case 3: some time we see "OK" (rare case).
Kindly help us to resolve this issue.
Hello,
Could you please tell, which FW version are you using? Could you please clarify, if you checked both ASC0 and ASC1 interface? If not, could you please check? If so, could you please tell if the issue appears for both? Have you updated the module with new FW in the meantime? Did you use MUX? Could you please also check power saving setting (AT+CFUN?)?
Kind Regards,
Agata
Hi Agata
The firmware version is mention below :
Cinterion
BGS2-W
REVISION 03.001 // Firmware version
A-REVISION 01.000.11
Only ASC0 interface is available on this board (starter kit b-80) and I2s connection.
I am looking for a new firmware update but where to get this software gWinSwup as per this datasheet Upgrading AGS2 BGSx Firmware.
from where I can get this software ??
We are not using MUX.
Since the module is not responding so we cannot check any command. At every keystroke, nothing is coming on the console. After typing 3-4 ***** then I am able to see only "A" on the console and again it will not take the next character "T" and after few(2-4) minutes it will display error messages on the console.
Thanks & regards
Devendra
Hi,
If you looking for new firmware please contact to Technical Sales or your distributor. The shop where you have bought your stater kit should provide you software.
About your AT issue, can you do this test?
1. Copy this (with the new line - "enter"):
AT+CFUN?
2. Open Putty console with proper set baud rate (normally 115200).
3. Press right mouse button to paste this command. Press it few ***** again until module response.
Please write if {AT+CFUN?} paste correctrly to terminal and if you have some response from module.
Best regards,
Krzysztof
