Hello,
Please run the firmware update with gWinSwup application and check the option "Recovery File System".
I hope this will help.

Hi,
I've sent you the proper version. Please try if it helps.

Hi Bartłomiej,
i have download the tool and have tried to repair. Now the unit does not react anymore. Now i send the box to our manufacturer.
Thank you for you help
Regards
Andreas
Hello,
Of course. This tool was the only thing you could have done by yourself. If it didn't help you should send the module back.
BTW if anything goes wrong during the firmware update causing that the module does not have the firmware inside it still has the bootloader and it wakes up in the firmware download mode. Then you should be able to load the firmware with the option "No Firmware in Module" checked. You should be using the modem (USB0) or ASC0 interface. During the first 10 seconds after start the firmware update can be started on ASC0 and after that on USB.
Regards,
Bartłomiej
Hi
I too am looking for the gWinSwup tool .. can you send me a link where I can download it?
Thanks!
Hello,
Can you write some more - what module you have and why you need gWinSwup? Do you have any problem with the module or you just suppose that it does not have the latest firmware version?
Please paste the ATI1 command output.
gWinSwup is not distributed as separate application - the exe file contains the particular firmware version with the program to upload it to the module.

Bartłomiej
Hi,
Here is the response from a working module...
"Cinterion
PHS8-P
REVISION 03.001
A-REVISION 01.001.24
OK"
My issue is that I have a few modules that are communicating but I can no longer access those modules as they do not respond to any AT commands from Putty or Tera-term. I also no longer see "^sysstart" when I power them on.
