How do I perform a reset on the EHS6T Modem?
Hello,
You can use the AT+CFUN=1,1 command.

*****,
my problem is, i cannot connect to EHS6T, because it restarts all the time. I tried the emerg_rst, >8V on RST_IN pin for more then 10 ms. but it doesn't work.
Regards
Derlich
Hi Derlich,
Could you please explain what exactly you are doing, and what scenarion you try to realize? Do you have any HW connected to the terminal?
Generally when using a terminal, it should be enought to connect power supply and then module will start. You can then connect serial cable to communicate with the terminal. If terminal restarts after power supply is connected - it may be related with the broken HW or with the user's MIDlet which does the restart.
Best regards,
Michał
Hi Michal,
i installed a wrong jad and now i cannot connect with terminal or eclipse.
What do you mean by "cannot connect with [...] eclipse"?
In case of the terminal - what about ASC0 and ASC1? You should be able to switch off the autostart via one of this interfaces just after module is started.
What do you mean by "wrong jad" ?
Best regards,
Michał
I have the EHS6T USB Modem. I can connect only with USB. The JAD and JAR file which i copied and installed on the modem was a wrong one, autostart is enabled. Now i have the problem, i switch on the powersupply and the modem starts for approx 2 seconds, after the 2 seconds it restarts, etc. In this time i see the modem in windows, but only for 2 seconds and then it disconnect, then connect, disconnect, etc. There is not enough time to switch the autostart or put another program on it. Now i tried the emerg_rst (>8V on RST_IN pin) to reset the hole flash. But it doesn't work
Best regards and a happy new year :)
Robert
Why you can't connect with ASC0/ASC1 ? You should have enought time to disable autostart then.
Best regards,
Michał
