Hi!
The question is: Can I modify a routing table definied in modem ELS61-E?
My task is to send a ICMP protocol "ping" message over UDP, not by using ^SISX command, through external router.
The message aimed to the same IP (as in my SIM card) should omit a loopback and travel to external router, and then the message have to travel back to my modem.
By default a message stays inside modem, and is received as a loopback.
In first sight, +CGTFT command maybe can help me?
Regards, Mikołaj.
Hello,
The module does not give you any access to a routing table.
I'm not sure if I got your point. If you use IP services over AT commands you can send the PING packet to the server and it will be bounced back. You want to send it to the module and modify the routing so that it would be sent to the remote server?
If you use the module as the modem (PPP or WWAN connection) you use the external IP stack on your PC and then can do anything.
