Hi,

After establishing a 2G/4G connection with the ELS61 i am reading the network parameters (which we use for monitoring) by using the AT^SMONI command. I have noticed that when the module is registered in the GSM (2G) network i sometimes get SMONI responses like this:

2G,83,144,232,01,00BE,7FB6,31,47,4,5,E,NOCONN

This shows the BCCH parameter (Receiving level of the BCCH carrier in dBm) to be 144 which is obviously impossible since the value should be in the range of -47dBm to -110dBm. Since the documentation does not mention this behaviour i wanted to ask if this is a special value for when the receiving level has not yet been measured, or if this signifies anything else?

How can we avoid reading this incorrect value?
