EHS5T Java + ADC | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

Hello!
I've tested the ADC on a EHS5T using the Java com.cinterion.io.ADC class with following results:
For analog input range 0-5V ADC.getValue() returns 0-1200, regardless of VCCref voltage (be it unconnected, 3V or 5V)
Can I rely on this observations or is this subject to change without notice?

Hello,
There have already been a similar issue on the forum.
Please see this thread: https://iot-developer.thalesgroup.com/threads/range-and-resolution-adc-r...
It should answer your question.

Ok thanks. But I wanted to point out, that the VCCref pin, contrary to your explanations, DOES NOT influence the input range on a EHS5T. I just wanted a confirmation that this behaviour keeps the same, regardless of any future Hardware/Firmware updates.
The input range that the module can measure is constant. When you connect to the ADC the same voltage that is connected to Vccref you should measure the maximum value from the module's range. When you connect 1/2 Vccref to ADC you will measure 1/2 from the module range.
This should not change for this module and terminal.
But I cannot give you 100% guarantee that there will be no newer terminal versions in the future.
