EHS5 and SISO fails to open | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

I'm trying to connect to a server at 10.0.100.11:1883.
When I invoke the AT^SISO command to open an internet service it ***** out.
I can ping other systems like google.co.uk, I can FTP from other systems but cannot make the connection to this server.
I can change to another server and connect ok and go into transparent mode but when I revert back to the original server it still fails to connect.
Firmware is 3.001-14.
Hello,
Do you use the private or public APN? This IP belongs to the private IP range.

Bartłomiej
Hi Bartłomiej,
I assume it's private as we connect using a company called Emnify. The servers are our own of which we have three. The one indicated is one we use for testing. It is an MQTT broker system.
I also have another issue. Sometimes during a data upload in transparent mode the carrier gets dropped. Should I then toggle DTR to drop it out of transparent mode or does that happen automatically?
Thanks in advance,
john
Hello,
Usually in private APNs only the private network is available by default and the public internet is not for security reasons. In your case you can acess public addresses while you can't the local one. Provided that the server is reachable by this address in the private network connected to the private APN you are expected to be using, you should be able to access it form the module as long as you are using this private APN.
So for me it looks like the problem with netowrk configuration or APN.
As for DTR I believe that it should return from transparent. But if it does you still need to close the service.
