Eclipse Juno Code Formatter | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

Hello,
I'm using Eclipse IDE to develop software (Java) for BGS5 module.
I have started to use Code Formatter property of Eclipse via ctrl+shift+f keyboard shortcut nowadays.
When I use this functionality, some codes is divided into 2 line because of maximum line width limit of formatter. This property is set in formatter profile, line wrapping tab. It is set to 80 default. I have created a new profile using existing one and changed maximum line width as 120. But it does not effect the code. Formatter still divides code into new line after 80 character. I have tested same thing with new eclipse version(mars2), it works. It divides code into new line according to the setting. I think Juno has a bug about this issue.
Is there anyone faced with this problem? How can I solve it?
Is it possible to use last eclipse version instead of juno properly?
Best Regards,
Ergün.
Hello,
Please check in the project properties - there can be project specific formatting set. I've verified it with my Eclipse Juno - there was project specific formatting set for Java ME project and for Java SE project not.
The versions provided on install CD are proved to be working correctly with the modules but of course you could try with the newer version, you will need to check on your own how it's working.
Best regards,

Hello Bartlomiej,
Thanks for the answer. You are right. I have checked if the project properties has also a setting about formatter. It has. Since I didn't select same profile from project properties, the changes had no effect on the project. Now it works.
Secondly, I had thought Gemalto has some special settings, configurations embedded in given Juno version. That is, some specializations. And new eclipse versions does not work with gemalto modules because of lack of that settings. Isn't there settings, configuration embedded in given Eclipse Juno by Gemalto? Have you ever tried with recent Eclipse versions? I will try it but I wanted to know before doing that.
Best Regards,
I use the versions provided by Gemalto. But I don't expect that there are any special settings. Maybe if you install some other version of the mobile tools plugin that is provided it could cause some problems but don't need to. You just need to test it if you like.
