Hello all,

I am looking for some documentation that lists all the differences between the ELS61 and ELS61 R2. Does such a thing actually exist?

Is any java application written for the the ELS61 compatible with the ELS61 R2?

Hello,

ELS61 R2 is just a newer HW version of ELS61, there are some minor hardware changes inside but from outside there should not be any difference. 

As for the applications in general the apps compiled for the older firmware versions should still work with newer firmware but we recommend to recompile with the newer libraries (especially fi the firmware revision changes, not only A-revision) as there may be some changes in the Java libraries also.

So for your case I recommend to rebuild the application.
