Hello guys, sorry for my bad engish.I can`t connect to modem BGS2T via rs 232 cabble. I use rs232 to usb adapter. I tryed with putty , at command tester and arduino serial monitor. The modem was connected to monitoring system and it shoud send sms when there is alarm. It was working fine untill yesterday. Now it doesn`t send sms and the green LED lit permanent and the orange LED doesn`t lit.I tryed with different sim cards but the situation is the same.So now i`m trying to connect with my pc and send some at commands but it can`t establish connection. Any suggestions???
Hello,
What exactly is the problem with connection - you can't connect to serial port (can't open the connection in the terminal application) or you can't exchange any data?
If you can't open the port, please make sure that you have chosen the right port and if the port is not used by another application. If you can't communicate please make sure that you have configured the terminal correctly (baudrate etc.) - the delivery bit rate for ASC0 is Autobaud mode enabled (AT+IPR=0) and 57600bps on ASC1, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit. Do you use RTS/CTS flow control lines? For commands execution please note that you need to add <CR> character to execute the command.

Thanks for the repply , i found the problem. The problem was really strange. When there is voltage apllyed to IGT_IN pin (4) of the power supply , the modem didn`t worked. I couldn`t connect to serial port and the modem coudn`t send sms. When i removed the voltage from the IGT_IN pin everything is ok now.
Hello,
So this was some problem with power supply connection. Maybe the module was turned off. Generally it is allowed to connect power to IGT_IN and it is showed in the documentation. Maybe you have somehow connected the power to RST_IN pin or there was some short circuit in the power cable.
