BGS5T:ASC0 setting power suply | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

Hello,
I have temperature sensor connected to ASC0. It works ok, but problem is that if I want to reset values on the sensor I have to take it's power supply. But there is constant 5v on ASC0.
I tryed setting voltage to 0V with AT^SPOW=0,0,0 but there is still 5V. Is there any option for doing that? I tested my sensor with USB-RS232 cabel and there is 5V only when I open com port. And after closing com port voltage goes back to 0V. But I can't do the same thing with BGS5t ASC0.
Regards
Jure
Hello Jure,
The TXD0 line of the serial interface ASC0 is also used to configure the terminal's watchdog.
You will find more about it in the terminal hardware description document.
The watchdog listens on the TXD0 line at the low baudrate 1200bps.
So this may be the reason.
Please try to connect your sensor to ASC1 if it's possible in your solution.
The lines are available in GPIO connector.
Best regards,
