Hi at alls,

Thanks in advanced.
Hello,
Have you tried other possibilities like AT command (for example AT^SJDL or MES on Windows machine)?
Maybe there is a problem with the python script. Where did you get it?

Hi,
this script use internal this AT command AT^SJDL. My device use Linux with Python installed.
I'm not expert in python but my problem is because BGS5 return CRC error after send the file by serial.

ERROR
CRC error
Do you know if there is other script to download this JAR and JAD file via serial?
Hello,
There may be no other ready scripts for this. Please try some other file for test.
Maybe there is a problem with the cable or interface.
I think that you should also test other ways like AT^SFSA command and also SJDL without script or Windows MES. If all the methods will fail it is also possible that there is some problem with this particular module.
Did you get the module without JRC from the supplier or there was previously JRC installed and it was running in a field?
Regards,
Bartłomiej
My history is very nice (ironic),
we had 500 devices with BGS5 in the market, and from time to time we receive several devices with Flash **********.
And I need to repair them, reflashing them, in this adventure we're.
Hello,
Have you also tried to upload the file in other ways (MES, AT^SFSA) or use some other file for test to exclude the problem with this particular file or method?
Generally if you have devices that had JRC installed and suddenly for some reason it disappears and any attempt to install it again fails (I also assume here that this problem was not caused by your MIDlet or any other logic running on the module) and additionally using gWinSwup with option "Recovery File System" checked doesn't help, then I think that you should report this to Gemalto support directly or via your distributor and report these damaged devices for replacement. This case should further be investigated also for verification if your hardware does not have contribution to this problem.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
