BGS5 undevoltage restart | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

Hello,
We've been testing a pair of devices, one with a BGS5 rev1.1 and the other with a BGS5 rev2.0. They are working fine but after an "undervoltage shutdown" the rev 1.1 doesn't restart with the IGL (ignition line). It only can be restarted by removing physically the power and connecting it again. The rev 2.0 restarts just fine
Does someone know if there's a way to configure the rev1.1 BGS5 so they restart after an undervoltage?
Thank you

Hi,
Have you checked the hardware difference of the Rel 1.1 and 2?
In the "ON" circuit for Rel2 there is a rise time filter (R3=1kohm, C1=100nF) which is not used in the Rel 1.1.
The Rel1.1 does not have an undervoltage shutdown, only a thermal shutdown (over/under).
The Rel 2.2 has an undervoltage shutdown: the treshold can be adjusted in the configuration;
AT^SCFG="MEShutdown/sVsup/threshold",<vthresh> (default 3,3V no offset).
- didn't see this in your log for the Rel2, perhaps you will need an updated version
Best regards,
Antero
