Anyone managed to get a connection between the Concept board and Eclipse on Win10? | Thales IoT Developer Community

Hi everyone, I'm new here.

I understand Win10 is not officially supported, but that is the OS I currently have installed..

I was wondering if anyone managed to get Eclipse setup to work with the Concept board and might have some clues what the issue might be. I'm using the EHS8 board.

I have the USB cable connected to the USB port on the board.

All firewalls are turned off.

Message in Eclipse:

"Using USB port COM19.

Connecting to module...

Passing control to external device emulator...

Failed to set baud rate!

Communication problems to the module, check COM port and connections!

*** Error ***

Device "IMP_NG_EHS5_REMOTE1" not registered!"

In my Win Device manager I see 6 Ports assigned under COM & LPT.

Which one of these should be configured for the EHSx Java Debug Modem?

Should I be able to successfully be able to Dial the modem using the DUN? Currently getting an error 692: Hardware failure with the modem..

Thanks for any advice on where to start troubleshooting, I cannot accept that it wouldn't run on Win10... :)

Cheers,

Sebastian
