I was wondering how the roadmap pointing to JAVA + 4G (LTE) modules looks like for Gemalto. The EHSx series of chips are great but only supports 3G.
I'm checking this. You'll be updated as soon as possible.
We see an exciting future for LTE in M2M, especially with dedicated new standards on the way, specifically designed for M2M.
With ever increasing baseband processing power, LTE modules definitely have resources developers could leverage for their own applications.
So we understand you can’t wait to get your hands on a Java-powered Cinterion LTE module.
We’ll definitely keep you posted in our community once we can tell you more about Java and 4G.
Can you share more about your application idea with our community and why 3G is perhaps not sufficient for you?
