Hello,
I'm trying to force the module "mPLS62-W" to use a specific radio accesst technology by using the command "AT^SXRAT". It all works well for 4G and 3G. But when it comes to 2G the modem simply perform a reboot.
Initially the command "AT^SXRAT?" will give the default value: ^SXRAT: 6,3,2
After providing the PIN number and modem will automatically register at the base station.
Afterwards I'm forcing to switch to 2G by issuing "AT^SXRAT=0". The command succeeds. A few seconds later the modem performs a restart.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks, Greetings,
Eddi
Hello,
You aren't doing anything wrong. Setting AT^SXRAT=0 is possible and it normally works. Is it always happening? Have you tried to send this also earlier or later etc.? Please also check with some other SIM card from the other operator. Maybe there is some other software that reboots the module? Can you check ATI1 and AT^SCFG? outputs?
Regards,
