MV32: verifying network slicing NSSAI on 5G SA mode
Showcase, February 20, 2023 - 8:37am, 841 views
Background:
Network slicing techniques and the private 5G networks, these are the most relevant 2 technical topics which many of our customers are currently in deployments for their 5G use cases
For an overview, please refer to a good summary by Ericsson:

Recent story (news, Feb 02.2023):
Ericsson, Intel and Microsoft show laptop network slicing
Show Case:
Below is a show case, whereby we are using our MV32 5G R16 UE device, to verify a test system with multiple network slicing NSSAI on 5G SA mode
Test setup:
1) AmariSoft 5G tester with 5G NR SA mode network slicing
https://tech-academy.amarisoft.com/NR_SA_NetworkSlice.html
2) MV32, latest FW F0.3.0.1.1
Test Steps:
On MV32 UE side, we are setting the UE initial registration request in default with 3 slices of NSSAI, see below:
The multiple contexts and PDU sessions followed, are then later handled towards the network core on the different slices (S-NSSAI), including a data session with 5QI (5G QoS Identifier) =9, an IMS session with 5QI=5, and a video session with 5QI=6
