Does PLS-8 support Win 10 SAC 20H2? | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

I have a tablet with PLS-8 module and it works with Win 10 SAC 1809 and older version. But recently when we upgrade to Win 10 SAC 1909 or 20H2, both of them are fail to connect to internet. The tray icon stays gray and the telecom shows "turned off". Is there anyway to solve the problem if I want to use the latest Win 10 SAC version?

Hello,
You did not attach the foto - there is only a link to a local file.
Do you know what kind of connection is used? Was the connection automatically established before the system update? In case of MBIM the standard Windows driver is used. Have you tried to check the cellular connection configuration in Windows? Maybe some default settings have changed.

Hi
I re-upload the photo again. Please check the phote link below.

In the phote you can see the Windows icon stays gray and cannot be changed.
Please also check in Device Manager under Network Adapters if the device is visible and what the status is.
Hi
Please see the photo from link. The module is visible but the tray icon of cellular is gray.

Can you check the driver details (Driver tab) of both 'Gemalto M2M ALSx PLSx LTE USB MB Wireless Ethernet Adapter' devices? What happens when you click on 'Cellular' icon?
Hi
I uploaded the pictures for your reference. When I click on "Cellular" icon, it doesn't change anything, keeps gray. But Wifi can be turned on when I click.

Hello,
These drivers are not the latest. Maybe there is a chance for update.
But before that please connect to one of the interfaces you can see under Ports in Device Manager with a terminal program (like ZOC, TeraTerm or similar) and check the firmware version with ATI1 command. The terminal ***** to add <CR> character in the end to execute the command.
If you have revision 4 you could enable MBIM. Please check AT^SSRVSET="actSrvSet" output. If it is not 4 you can change with AT^SSRVSET="actSrvSet",4 and reboot the module. Then you should see something like 'Generic Mobile Broadband Adapter' under Network adapters in Windows Device Manager. Please check if cellular connection works now.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej

Did you reboot the module after the configuration change and at least was able to see the new driver in Device Manager? Please check AT+CPIN?, AT+CFUN?, AT+CREG?, AT+COPS?, AT+CGDCONT? command outputs?
Hi
What do you mean about the new driver? We did not update the driver. Or can you share the latest driver for us to try? After update drvier, we can check the AT command above for your reference. Thank you!
