How to factory reset or reflash TC65i? | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

We want to refurbish used stock of TC65T Java terminals by replacing the internal TC65 module by TC65i module. We found stock of used TC65i and could purchase them. We tested some samples and found there is some customer software on it, but no key/password is set. The modules report (ATI) TC65i Cinterion Revision 01.100.
Is there a way to either completely delete these modules, or reflash them with current firmware?
Hello,
If there'a any MIDlet loaded and configured for auto-start and there is no custom password set you should be able to remove this configuration. You can also delete the customer MIDlets.
There is no command or any hardware switch to do a factory reset. Some parameters can be reset with AT&F and stored with AT&W. Updating the firmware is possible (if there is any update) but it will not remove the installed customer applications as far as I remember. It's quite an old module and the customer applications handling has changed in later products.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
Is there a change log comparing Revisions 01.100 and 02.400?
Hello,
I have sent you RN for TC65i 02.004. I didn't find version 02.400.
To be sure please check again ATI1 reply.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
This is what i was looking for, Thanks.
Hi, can you send me a TC65i 02.004 firmware? Will this work with TC65i-x?
Hello,
Could you write us some more about your issue and why you need a firmware? Please also send ATI1 reply to let me see what firmware you currently have. TC65i and TC65i-X need separate firmware images.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
