Hi,
I have a problem with communication via ASC0 @57600bps. The modem worked fine for several months but now it does not respond @57600bps and responds @4800bps (echo only, without OK/ERROR some chars hang echo) . Can it be repaired or should I replace it with a new one?
Best Regards...
Jacek
Hello,
Is it possible that you have changed the baudrate with AT+IPR command? Or some other settings related to serial ports or AT commands execution? Do you remember what was IPR setting - some fixed baudrate or 0 for autobauding?
Please also try on ASC1 interface.
Regards,
Bartłomiej
In response I get only sent characters @4800bps (without OK/ERROR response after CR). This is the first case in several thousand devices. I've AT+IPR=57600[CR] when I start device for the first time.
ps. gWinSwup (gwswup_bg2_rev01002_arn0100201.exe) doesn't detect the modem.
Hello,
gWinSwup also communicates with the module with AT commands. So if it can't you will not be able to update or reflash the firmware. If you are unable to communicate with the module on both serial interfaces you probably can't do anything with it.
Is the module mounted into your proprietary hardware - please also make sure that the problem is not related to this hardware.
You also might have changed the baudrate by mistake to some non-standard value. But this echo on 4800 is strange - if the module echoes but does not return any result, even after reboot, you may suspect that it is damaged. Please contact your supplier.
