EHS5 rev.04 domain name in OTAP | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

I am working on SW development of EHS5 modems and ran into some problems when migrating from rev.03 to rev.04.
On rev.03 I had no problems using the following OTAP command for contacting server based on either domain name or IP:
(without even specifying DNS server)
On rev.04 it works with IP address but doesn't work with domain name.
It gives an error "JAD server not found".
Mysite domain name is on the DNS server 184.108.40.206, I checked. I've tried other DNS servers, but result is the same.
Could you please advise me how to fix this?
Please make sure if the server link is correct. I tried your link with both versions and got server not found on both. Please insert IP instead of domain name for test if you suspect DNS issue.
Thanks for fast reply!
Excuse me, the link is **** (corporate ethics), the real link with domain name works, it downloads through the Сhrome browser without problems
And how about IP address? Does it work or not?
Yes, on rev.04 it works with IP address
I tried on both revisions without specifying DNS address with our test server and in both cases it worked with domain name. So it seems strange to me that it does not work with rev4 in your case. Are you sure that this address still works with rev3? Maybe there's some other reason like too many redirections or something else.
Yes, it works on rev3
I didn't solve this problem, but can show you link on my server and OTAP trace.
But with domain name:
I'm sorry for the late answer but I was out of office for the last 2 weeks.
I tested your links with my EHS5-E REVISION 04.003 A-REVISION 01.000.04 module and it did work for both 220.127.116.11 DNS and no DNS specified.
Please check your firmware version with ATI1 command. Do you have another module of the same type to compare?
