PHS8 CME Error 10 (Sim not inserted) even though it is in | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

In rare cases our PHS8-E based modems lose their connection in the field. The modem then remains offline, until the SIM card is unplugged and replugged. Resetting the modem by software (AT+CFUN=1,1) or switching off the power supply for a longer time does not help. The only thing that helps is to toggle the CCIN pin, which is not possible remotely. The CME ERROR 10 (no SIM) is always output, the CCIN PIN shows the correct and stable level wieh doing a direct measurement. The signal is directly connected to the PHS8-E without any detours, and the correct signal is also applied to the pad of the modem.
Is such an effect known? If so, what could be a solution?
