Hi,

What is the Java ME Embedded platform version that is supported on ESH8? Isn't it 3.2? If so, how come things like HashMap, Enum, @Override tags..etc are not available in the development library installed from the CD? These things should already be supported on Java ME Embedded 3.2 afaik.

I stand corrected. Those constructs I mentioned are supported only in platform 8. In this case, I wish platform 8 could be supported in the near future on Gemalto Modules :).

Hello,

Currently the Java platform is compliant to CLDC 1.1 HI (JSR139) and IMP-NG (JSR228) Java standards and it is based on Oracle Java ME Embedded 3.2.  

So it does not support the classes you have mentioned. 

For now I don't have any public information if this is going to be updated at a certain point in time.
