UART Interface on PLS8 | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

In the datasheet of the PLS8 the Serial Interface (UART) is stated as a feature on page 4:

But in the Hardware Interface Description I can't find any information on how to connect a Serial Interface:

(I'm aware, that regarding the datarate the Serial Interface makes not much sense, but the Serial Interface is given by the application and the custermer want LTE.)
Somewhere over the rainbow!!! Looking for the Oz Land!!!
Hi,
We are currently designing a board which must support both the PHS8 and PLS8 modules. These devices are from our information supposed to be pin and feature-compatible (with the exception of LTE of course). As expected, the information provided in the overview for the PLS8 states that PCM, UART, I2S and GPS are features as with the PHS8.

However, this does not seem to be the case when reading the technical documentation from the knowledge base, as found here:
https://iot-developer.thalesgroup.com/documentation/pls8-e-technical-doc...
where none of the listed features are documented (the pads are listed as rfu).
Are we looking at the wrong documentation or is there an inconsistency in your documentation?

Emil, LIAB ApS
Hello,
The document in the knowledge base is for PLS8 release 1 which does not have these features.
The data sheet describes the new release 2.1 which has not yet been released and therefore the hardware interface description document is not yet available.
