Dear all,

I have to test Gemalto Cinterion EHS6T LAN. According to manual, I have tried to connect to telnet interface of OpenWRT. Unfortunately, I am not able to access telnet interface for initial connection (according nmap output, device does not listen on telnet port 23).

I have also tried access via web interface, still no luck. Default root:admin credentials does not work. It seems this modem was once set, but I do not have credential to access it.

Is there any way to proceed factory reset of the device? There is nothing about factory reset in the manual, also did not find nothing interesting here in the developer discussion.

Anyone to help?

Hi Jan,

indeed it seems that the password was set already, thats why you cannot connect via telnet - with password set you will be able to connect only via ssh. It is not possible to access the terminal without credentials, only factory flash procedure might help in this case - please contact your local distibutor for further instructions.
