Hi,
MES doesn't work for my BGS5T
I can see with a sniffer that MES sends the AT+CGMM commands at different bit rates unless it gets a good response. Then it sends AT&F and AT\Q3 commands. And then it sends the AT^SQWE=100 which fails and then AT^SQWE=3 command which executed successfully...there is exchanging of some data...pause...and +++ command
And MES does nothing more (there is error). File system doesn'n openened and I can't upload my files.
I have Windows 7 x64.
>ATI
Cinterion
BGS5
REVISION 01.100
OK
Please help.
Regards
P.S. Is there another way to copy files to the terminal FS?
Hello,
Has it been working before? What interface are you using for MES? Please also try other interface.
It is also possible to use AT commands for accessing the file system - please see more about AT^SJDL and AT^SFSA commands in the AT commands specification document.

Bartłomiej
Hello!
Thank you for the fast reply.
It's new. I'm trying to use it for the first time instead of my old ТС65Т. There was no problem with TC65T on my PC.
I use ASC0. I have to use ASC1 for the communication with other device. USB interface is used for stdout (AT^SCFG="Userware/Stdout","USB1",,,,"off")
AT^SJDL works - jad and jar files uploaded successfully. MES doesn't.
There is one new problem...
I try to start MIDlet with AT^SJAM and I have error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/cinterion/io/ATCommandResponseListener
As you can see I use cwmlib_1.0.jar. This library exported in Eclipse Juno from WTK: Build Path --> Configure Build Path --> Java Build Path --> Order and Export. What about this problem? Please help

Ru
Hello,
So maybe you are using the old MES version for TC65? Please try also USB for test.
If you have exported cwmlib it should work. Maybe you could try to clean and biuld again. Are you using all the environment from the installation CD package? Have you configured the project in a correct way? Maybe you could try to comment out all AT commands API's and try to build the project for test.
Regards,
Bartłomiej
No, I'm sure that are the new MES and the new environment. I installed all from the installation CD bgs5_rev01100_arn0000021_install-cd.
MES doesn't work on USB also.
OK, I'll try to comment out all AT commands. But I think the app will work.
Regards
Please make sure that you configure the proper port for MES in case of USB. And check if you can send AT commands on ASC0 or any interface that you try with MES. For serial interface you could also make sure that power saving is not activated (AT^SPOW command). Are all the lines connected? Please also check AT^SJMSEC? output if OBEX is not disabled.
As for NoClassDefFoundError there must be something wrong in the project configuration or build process. You could try to import the following example project C:\Users\Public\Cinterion\EHS5 WTK Examples\EclipseSamples\AtCmdDemo - you should have it on your HD. And verify if it will work.
Regards,
Bartłomiej
ASC0:

> AT+IPR?
+IPR: 115200
OK
From the outputs that you have pasted I see that probably JRC MIDlet is not running. Maybe the autostart is deactivated. Please send AT^SCFG? command and check "Userware/Autostart" parameter - it should be set to "1". Please also check if MES is installed. Some of the AT commands are implemented in JRC and it should always be running. However this should not cause any problems for MES.
Thank you very much, Bartłomiej!
MES works fine on USB port. My MIDlet also works.
