Hi:
Does the module support USB FS to update firmware ?
I had tried update EHSx and BGS2 , those module can update successfully via USB FS, but ELS61 always fail.
About ELS61, we want to update to 00.014.00 from 00.011.00, After update fail , now i can not use the ELS61.
As I observed, when update tool send block1 data to module , the module will lose the USB port.
Below is my update logs.

Hello,
ELS61-E generally supports USB 2.0 High Speed (480Mbit/s) device interface that is Full Speed (12Mbit/s) compliant.
So there should not be a problem while doing a firmware update also.
I have also tested the update from A-REVISION 00.011.00 to A-REVISION 00.014.00 (on Windows system) and it was possible.
In case of gWinSwup there is also an option to update the module if there is no firmware running. There should be the same for gLinSwup, I believe, so you could try once again.
I have found out the same problem reported to our support line at the same time - probably by you also. I think that you should continue this way. Maybe there is a problem with a bootloader. They will be able to provide you an update if needed.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
Is there a general download location for the firmware?
Hello,
It is possible but you need to have access to it. You need to contact your local Gemalto sales with this question.
Or please ask your Gemalto contact for a particular file.
Or you can describe here what you need and why - maybe I'll be able to help you.
Here you can find the documentation: https://iot-developer.thalesgroup.com/documentation/download-documentati...

I have the following version on my shield:
Cinterion
ELS61-E
REVISION 01.000
Mainly wanting to make sure I've got the latest version loaded to help narrow down some issues we're seeing.
- drop socket connectivity randomly
- respond with length 0 when there is no more data
- and others
Please check the detailed firmware version with ATI1 command. I'll check then.
Here are the versions I have for the three modules:
Arduino Shield
Cinterion
ELS61-E
REVISION 01.000
A-REVISION 00.008.00
Rel-2 eval module:
Cinterion
ELS61-E
REVISION 01.000
A-REVISION 00.014.00
Rel-2 eval module:
Cinterion
BGS2-W
REVISION 03.001
A-REVISION 01.000.10
Hello,
For ELS61-E the latest available firmware is currently A-REVISION 00.014.00.
For BGS2-W REVISION 03.001 it is A-REVISION 01.001.08 and there is also REVISION 04.030 A-REVISION 01.000.09

So is there a public download site so I can get my Arduino Shield and eval module up to the latest version?
Also, is there a bug tracking place (e.g. GitHub/bugzilla/JIRA/etc.) that we can file defects against the products?
Hello,
As I have written before there is no public download site with firmware.
The support packages are offered - you can get access to the support line where you can report problems and ask for help. You can also get access to the download site. But you need to contact your local Gemalto sales person for details.
If you have any particular problems you could also try to get help via your distributor.
Of course you can also write on the forum.
In a meantime I can send you the firmware update files.
Regards,
Bartłomiej
