Dear, Kindly i have a problem when i'm trying to send SMS with length above 110 . the command AT+CMGS is stopped with no response and i shall restart the hardware again. Although i have configured SMS parameters to be 140 character as should below AT+CMGF=1 AT+CSMP=17,167,0,16 Please advise Thank you

Hi, I didn't experience such issue with exact software version. I need more detailed reproduction scenario to help. Please provide what's module's answer to following commands: AT+CSCS? AT+CGSMS? Please provide also reproduction log and paste exact message content. Regards Jedrzej

Hello, Kindly in case the message length above 100 . the log is AT+CMGF=1 OK AT+CSMP=17,167,0,16 OK AT+CMGS="01224688337" > and in case the message length is below 100. the log is: AT+CMGF=1 OK AT+CSMP=17,167,0,16 OK AT+CMGS="01224688337" > Receipt Transaction Successful Merchant 1 MID:10002913 TID:7326 On : 14-07-03 02:42:50 Card +CMGS: 21 OK The Log traces of commands are: AT+CSCS? +CSCS: "GSM" OK AT+CGSMS? +CGSMS: 3 OK If you need more logs ,please feed me back Thank you

Hi, I'm not able to reproduce this issue. Please answer: 1. Are you sending the messages manually or automatically, script or targeted application? 2. If script is used, are you able to reproduce this when entering commands manually? 3. If script is used, are you waiting 100ms after command completes before another command is invoked? 4. Are you posting ctrl+z character after the message? 5. Are you able to send an SMS in PDU mode? Regards Jedrzej

Hello, 1- SMS is sending automatically from POS . 2,3-We can't do it manually as we run application on POS 4-No i don't include ctrl+z at all. Please Tell me the hexa value of ctrl+z and add it 5- No, we didn't try PDU as we interest in Text mode only Thank you

Hello, Kindly i have tried to add crtl+z with hexa value 0x1A for both cases and i got the same result . The first message was sent successfully and other not and hardware stopped at > Thank you

Hello, AT+CMGS command accepts a number and passes to data mode. When in data mode it waits for message content scanning incoming data until ctrl+z is met. I suppose your POS application automatically adds ctrl+z to message content as you don't need to add it manually. It looks like the module doesn't even receive the message. If it did, the echo of the message would be visible. As the message doesn't come to the module, no ctrl+z comes also, so the module is stuck in data mode. It seems that POS application doesn't send the data. Manual test would verify this suspicion. Regards Jedrzej
