Hello,
I have a ELS61T modem with LAN output.
I connect this modem to a pc over LAN. In the pc side I have an IP address.
But I don't know how to connect the modem and send him AT command.
In ssh, telnet ? what is the IP address of the modem? I can set it with the serial interface?
The final result I want, is to connect the modem to internet, by sending command only on LAN interface.
Then having internet connnection on my board (linux, android) with this LAN connection.
Maybe you have examples ?
Thank you.
Hello,
It is possible to configure the terminal over LAN and to send AT commands over LAN and serial interface.
Finally the terminal should connect to the internet automatically.
Do you have the Hardware Interface Description document for the terminal? It contains the description how to configure the device (Appendix B: Ethernet Setup and Usage).

Hello,
I was able to connect the modem over Lan and connect on telnet.
But after making some configuration I can't get an IP adresse. So I can't connect on ftp or telnet.
How to reset the modem to factory ?

Hi,
When you access the LAN port with a terminal emulator first time, use a normal telnet connection.
Login as root. Then set the password with passwd command. For the next connections after this, use SSH.
See my comments on this thread: https://iot-developer.thalesgroup.com/threads/gemalto-cinterion-ehs6t-lan .
You can give AT commands from LAN by address 1234. Delivery address is 192.168.1.1.
