When writing an address to the ELS31-v

Sent from my device:
at^siss=3,address,"https://tracermanage.com/config/89148000001919240902.txt

Read back from the ELS31-v:
at^siss=3,address,"https://tracermanage.com/config/891480000019192409  2.txt"

It is inserting a 0x$00 not the '0' that I wrote.  If I have a shorter address it is fine.  I have also see this when writing and sending an SMS message.  What is the serial input buffer length on the ELS31-V, I am watching an stopping the data sent to the chip when the handshaking line indicates pause in sending, but the problem still persists.

Is there a known issue where the chip inserts a hex $00 in certain setup strings sent to the chip?

Can someone try this on their test bed to see if it is an issue?
