The concept board is great. It includes a lot of I/O and an expansion bus, too. If you read the documentation, including the schematics, you have a lot of information to make your own design. Again, this product includes a very good Java support! I have been playing around with the board and it is working fine.

Please elaborate on the following from the Concept Board Hardware Interface Description: > EHS6 enumerates, i.e., registers with the USB host, as a CDC-ACM > Composite USB device supporting eight separate interfaces. This > is the Composite Communication enumeration. > Under Microsoft® Windows XPTM, Microsoft® Windows Vista® and > Microsoft® Windows 7 this USB device implements a Modem port (a > virtual USB Modem port) plus six further communication ports as well as a > reserved port. The Modem port as well as the ports enumerated 3 to 5 are > AT command interfaces, i.e., these ports are accessible by AT command > and may be used as control and data interfaces. Linux registers 7 ttyACM interfaces (0 to 6). ttyACM0 responds to AT commands ttyACM1 and 2 do not ttyACM3 responds to AT commands but with echo feature deactivated (can be activated with ATE1 command ttyACM4 and 5 respond to AT with echo enabled ttyACM6 does not speak AT Please explain the difference between the communication channels. The remarks about the Windows drivers seems to apply, port 0 and 3-5 speak AT. Please also explain the exact purpose of each port (including 1, 2 and 6) so I can perhaps get this right in the Linux cdc-acm driver with the correct dialects. > The interfaces - with the exception of the reserved port - are controlled by > separate device drivers running on the Windows host. These drivers may > be standard USB drivers integrated in Windows. The driver configuration > files for Windows (.inf files) are supplied by Gemalto and need to be > installed before the device can be used. Where can I find the Windows drivers? They weren't included in the package and I cannot find a download link. These might provide me with some hints.
Regarding windows drivers and development tools for the Cinterion® Concept Board: For the time being, owners of the board can register at http://www.concept-board.com and download the installation package, which also includes the necessary drivers. Please have your IMEI handy - the 15-digit number starting with 35.. printed on the bottom of the EHS6 wireless module on the Concept Board. I know it's a bit of a detour right now, but we're looking into simplifying this for you in the not too distant future. Do let us know here in the forum what you will create with your Concept Board! Enjoy, Mani

Hi Mani, I have registered and received my user name. I am probably being a little stupid but I cannot see where you download the installation package from http://www.concept-board.com. Can you help? Thanks Ian
Even me have the same Problem!

If you already have the username you need to click "Concept Board Support" on the left of the page from the link. Or just follow this link: http://m2m.gemalto.com/developer-zone/concept-board-support.html

Hello Manfred.

Buy the concept board some time ago.

When I go to register on the web http://www.gemalto.com/m2m/development/cinterion-concept-board/support tells me that the IMEI is invalid.

I've tried every day but always tells me the same!

Might you help me?

Thanks
Federico Ettlin

I was hoping to use my board but it seems I have to wait for my registration in order to get the drivers - or am I missing something ?

I downloaded documents of the concept board.
But Sheet:7/7 of "Concept_Board_Schematicas.pdf" is missing.
Please provide it.

Hi! I have lost my installation CD. Where can I find download page for Cinterion Mobility Toolkit?
