Hello,
did somebody have experience with the gemalto modem in America? I have a AT&T SIM card but i cant get a IP adress. In Germany everything works well.

Hi,
Could you provide more information:
- Which module?
- Home network is Germany or US?
- Are you sure that data roaming is activated?
- After not getting Ip address, what is the response of "AT+CEER"?
Kind regards,
Michał

Hello,
Have you tried not to set any APN? Maybe "internet" is not working for that network - have you tried other APN, user and password?
Is it possible that the SIM card that you are using has no data subscription?
Regards,
Bartłomiej
Hello,
yes, i tried it with no settings and on the at&t website i found these settings
APN: wap.cingular
Username: wap@cingulargprs.com
Password: cingular1
nothing was working
Regards,
Derlich
i also tried as APN everything i found in the internet, like: phone, wap, cingular...
Does anybody has an idea?
Regards,
Derlich
Hello,
In the cited username I can see '@' character - as there are differences in encoding this character in GSM and other character sets please set at^sics=0,"alphabet",1 and then configure the username again. Maybe this will help. Please check what was set with at^sics?
In case it is not the case please put the logs from what you are doing. What does the AT^SICI? return?
Regards,
Bartłomiej
Hello,
i have to try this in 2 months, now i'm on my way home.
Thanks and regards,
