In v3.001 of the PDS6 AT command document there is a contradiction in the radio band listing. In the AT^SCFG description, page 67/68, it says:
“1“ GSM 900 MHz
“2“ GSM 1800 MHz
“4“ GSM 1900 MHz
“8“ GSM 850 MHz
“16“ WCDMA 2100 (BC1)
“32“ WCDMA 1900 (BC2)
“64“ WCDMA 850 (BC5)
“128“ WCDMA 900 (BC8)
“256“ WCDMA 800 (BC6)
In the AT^SNMON description, page 187, it says:
1 GSM 900
2 GSM 1800
4 GSM 850
8 GSM 1900
16 WCDMA 2100 (BC1)
32 WCDMA 1900 (BC2)
64 WCDMA 850 (BC5)
128 WCDMA 900 (BC8)
256 WCDMA 800 (BC6)
Note that 4 & 8 are swapped. Could you advise which is correct, please?
Thanks
Steve
Hello,
These two are the separate commands which does not influence each other. The difference in parameter list does not necessarily mean that one of them is incorrect. There is probably a reason why the values are swapped in one of them in comparison to the other. One of them could be a backward compatibility.
There was also the same in previous modules. So I'd consider this as correct unless you have a strong proof that it's not.

Hi Bartlomiej
This sounds a bit peculiar. However, I won't be able to test the those frequencies until much later in development.
Thanks

I also don't have a possibility to test these frequencies at the moment. But these commands were present in previous products so somebody would probably have found it if the documentation was wrong.
