IMPDbg application on Windows 8 | Telit Cinterion IoT Developer Community

I'm having dificulty getting the IMPDbgConnectionSetup application to work on a Windows 8 machine with several devices (Concept Boards and EHS6T). The device drives appear correctly installed as per the video posted by Alopez https://iot-developer.thalesgroup.com/threads/windows-drivers-install-video-tutorial-concept-board-and-ehsx-terminals
I understand that Windows 8 is not offically supported but developing applications on my Win 8 machine is much faster. Win 10 will be officially here soon.
Is there a timeline for Win 8 support?
Hello,
Can you write more details about what exactly is happening?
Currently I don't have any official timeline I could share here.
Regards,
Bartłomiej
Hello Bartłomiej,
Thanks.. When the IMPDbgConnectionSetup application is executed the final response is as per below. This is on a Windows 7 machine I was trying (with the USB enumaeration as in the image, but it is the same with Windows 8 PC as well.
Regards, Neil
Hello,
Please check if "OJMEE" is close (you'll find it in the tray if it's working - the debugger starts it).
Please also make sure that "IP connection for remote debugging of EHSx" is closed.
Please close all USB connections to the module, reset the module, check if it is replying and close the connection.
Then try again with the installation.
If the problem still exists maybe there's some problem with USB drivers or some conflict with other USB devices. My recommendation would be to find some freeware software that can display all USB devices (even hidden or not currently connected) and remove all Cinterion devices. And then try to install everything again.
Please also write me the ATI1 reply and possibly the software version and drivers version.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
