Hi there, do i need any driver for BGS2T ?, when i connect modem over USB/serial DP9 i get none info, only in device manager i found that com por 8 is connected
You don't need any special driver to communicate over serial interface.
But as I understand you are using some kind of RS232-USB converter and connect to your PC via USB. In such case you might need some additional driver from the device manufacturer. Pleas also check the port settings in the 'Device Manager' - there should be 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit.
The best would be to check the communication without the RS232-USB converter first.
Could you descibe me how should I install modem BGS2 on PC with Windows 8 ? What driver should I use ?
BGS2 has only serial interface. To communicate with the module you only need to connect the RS232 cable and you will be able to communicate with it. For modem functionality Gemalto offers a modem driver.
