We have just bought 3 pieces of Thales BGS2T. We have a problem with these modems. We make CSD calls to other modems. If We call to other modem and Software Stop the call (DTR Signal go to off) BGS2T remain the call during other 50 seconds. We have more BGS2T and only these 3 BGS2T have this problem.
We have compared some BGS2T with AT&V and AT commands are similar.

I think the modem ignored the DTR signal and stop the call after some timeout, but this is a problem for us. Can You help us?.

Seems like AT&D2 is set which is correct.
As I understand you have different versions of this terminal. Could you check the firmware versions of both working and not working (ATI1 command)?
Are all terminals connected in the same way? How exactly do you toggle the DTR line i.e. for how long?

Modules with issue (A200):
Cinterion BGS2-W

Modules with NO issue (A100):

If I take off RS232 cable while modem is calling It holds the call. In these case, modem should hang up.

Could you also add how exactly do you toggle the DTR line, I mean the timings?
No, I don`t know. I have 2 software but I don´t konw how DTR is toggled. Are threre some software to check DTR toggle?
I have read at BGS2TBGS2T_ATC_V01.301 (BGS2T AT Command Set) that If DTR is down modem should hang up the call (similar to take off RS232 cable).

I didn't find any information about differences in DTR handling in these versions so far. I only found that in case of DTR toggling: DTR has to be dropped from active to inactive for at least two seconds so the modem can interpret it as a toggle. Additionally, the DTR is being polled once per second from the internal firmware of the module thus in worst case scenario it takes about 3 seconds for the toggle to be detected.
That's why I was asking about the timing details, suspecting that maybe your software drops the line for too short.
