Hi team ,
If i am doing soft reset of modem at every 5 min . Will it create any problem if 5 min retries will be more let's say 100 ***** or more ?
Hello,
This does not seem like a common use case. Honestly So it's probably not documented anywhere how frequently you can reboot the module. If you do it just for test 100 *****, I suppose it's not any problem. If you plan to do it as a standard use case for your product's lifetime it might need some more consideration and calculation. The other thing is how tolerant the network will be for such a scenario.

Hi ,
I want to use this as a standard use case for my product's lifetime . Please let me know , should i use this ? And what are other things i have to consider if i want to use this as a standard practice ?
What I'm concerned most in such a scenario is flash memory durability. Every flash memory has some write cycles limit it can withstand. Typically it is up to 100000 cycles. So if we imagine that the module for sure writes some configuration data on each boot or switch-off, such a scenario may shorten the module's life. Of course there may be some algorithms in the flash driver to protect the memory for instance by not saving the data in the same place too frequently. So it may not be easy to ***** how soon such a scenario could harm the module. Anyway I think that it my shorten it's life when applied 24/7.
