Hello,
I have followings issues with my EHS6T :
1) During the boot, the Network LED doesn't flash (SIM inserted or not)
2) When I connect to Serial, the console show boot messages until "+PBREADY", then nothing shown again and I cannot input any command. The consol hangs and input is not possible run any commands.
Need assistance on this issue please.
Thanks.
Hello,
This LED is configurable with AT^SLED command and additionally AT^SCFG="Gpio/mode/SYNC" ***** to be set to "std". By default it should be enabled but you should verify.
Serial interface might be in power saving mode - please check AT^SPOW command. You can send AT^SPOW=1,0,0 to disable. In case power saving is enabled you need HW flow control (RTS/CTS lines) and there may be delays in communication. Please also try on USB.

Hello BARTLOMIEJ,
Thanks a lot for you expertise . Ended Modem were is power saving mode. And RTS/CTS allowed to have access to consol. LED was disabled as well and enabled right now.
Now my new issue is that I need to reset Modem to Factory default because Firewall block all LAN connection...
I'm trying by WD= DFT_VAL,1,1 command but it doesn't succeed. I doesn't get any error but reset to default doesn't work.
Thanks for helping.
WD commands are for the hardware watchdog configuration. If you have problems with accessing the terminal over LAN port, the only reset option is the reinstallation of OpenWrt image. It also means removing all the configurations you have done. There is a special procedure for this to wake up the terminal in the firmware upload mode. So please make sure that there is no wat to access it, maybe use WireShark to see the traffic.
Hello,
Thank you so much for your response.
There is no way to access modem from LAN: Telnet, FTP, SSH requests are rejected. Only ping to modem succeed.
Happily I doesn't have any special configuration and I could reset it to factory default .
Please, could you help with firmware download and upload procedure.
I have another modem working fine, may be there is a way to restore a backup taken from that one?
Thanks for you help.

Hello,
I don't think it's possible to extract the image from a working terminal. I sent you the instructions how to do a factory reset.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej
Hello,
Thank you so much for the procedure. I downloaded files successfully .
I Tried to make S1 button connection to create trigger but unfortunately modem still boot in normal mode...
Certainly, I miss something. A photo showing S1 connection to RST_IN and VCC would help me enough.
Best Regards.
I believe it should work. I did it recently without a problem. Please connect with http, not https. I was using Chrome browser.

Hello,
It should ended. Certainly I'm doing bad connection. Please, tell me, the S1 is connected between RST_IN and VCC. Could you help locating the VCC on that circuit ? Certainly there is the issue. The connection could be done externally or I have to open the modem to have access to circuit ?
Thanks.
Hello,
In the standard power supply that you probably have pins 1,2,4 are connected to Vcc and 5,6 to ground. Pin 3 (RST_IN) is not connected. What you need to do is to connect RST_IN pin to Vcc, plug the socket to the terminal and release the RST_IN connection after 3 seconds. You don't even need a switch, you can short circuit the cables. You should not open the modem but you may need to modify the power cable of your power supply. Or if you don't want to do it, you can cut a standard telephone cable with RJ-11 plug and connect it (according to the schematic in the presentation) to some other power supply (8-30V).
